OHS - Connecting to your Family Doctor

We always land up at our family doctor's residence or clinic whenever we have a problem with our health. A recent survey by OHS on social media revealed that over 96% of the users go to their family doctor on the start of a health problem and they are the first point of contact in such emergencies. With such large number of people depending on them, its a major surprise that no one has a way to effectively and conveniently contact & book appointments with them. OHS is the first service that allows you to book with YOUR family doctor at the leisure of your home, by just clicking the button your computer.

The doctors on the other hand can effectively manage the patients and knows details about their upcoming patients from their desk.

Very effective and necessary tool, to begin with.

I will write more on the software and the features when i am done reviewing it. For now, I think it has managed to create a niche for itself in the medical software market in India.

OHS - Background

This blog is dedicated to technology usage in the healthcare maintenance. We have started using technology for most activities we do in life, but most people still dont use even basic computer programs to store their health information. Most of the information we have are from the reports that we collect from doctors, surgeons, specialists, pathology labs, etc. All these information are on hard copy with us, and usually not available readily for review or sharing with your doctor. 

I will be writing details on one such service, OHS, which has effectively addressed these issues and brought out a cost effective solution for Indian users. 

OHS, or Online Health Safe (onlinehealthsafe) is an online/offline health service of users - both patients and doctors to effectively communicate with each other. Simple !
